Professor Albert Lee Wai-ming receives the President’s Award for Outstanding Performance in Service and Dr Ken Leung Cham-fai receives the Faculty Performance Award for Outstanding Performance in Teaching
The
University presented today (29 April) the President’s Award for
Outstanding Performance to five academic or teaching staff to recognise
their brilliant performance in teaching or research, promoting
excellence in performance standards and encouraging colleagues to make

Professor Albert Lee Wai-ming, Chair Professor of the Department of Chemistry
Professor
Roland Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, congratulated the award
winners. He said that professors and teachers are the soul of a
university; they create, disseminate, transmit and apply knowledge, as
well as serve as a role model to inspire students and the public. He
commended the awardees, saying each one of them is “the best of the
best” and represent HKBU by fulfilling these roles superbly and
contributing their best to teaching, research and service.
On
the same occasion, Professor Franklin Luk, Vice-President (Academic),
presented the Faculty/School Performance Award and the General Education
Teaching Award to 10 academic and teaching staff.
