An inspiring start to the academic year! Our Department welcomed new undergraduate students with a dynamic orientation programme on 2 September, 2025.

Head of Department, Prof. Kelvin Leung opened the evening, followed by a departmental briefing and a warm introduction of our guests. We were honoured to host the Baptist Chemists and Dr. William Cho, Head of the Jockey Club Cancer Research Laboratory at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, who shared their insights and experiences with our students.

The night continued with an ice-breaking game and lively mingling over dinner. Students were recognized for their achievements during the awards ceremony and had the opportunity to share their stories, and the event concluded with a memorable group photo.
