The Department of Chemistry at HKBU secured 7.7 million HKD through this year’s General Research Funds (2022/23) from the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong. This is a new record for the department in terms of the total amount of funding in a single year. 89% of the funds came from the Physical Sciences panel while the rest (11%) from the Engineering panel.
