Dr Ken Leung wins Materials Research Contribution Award for three consecutive years
Dr Ken Leung’s efforts and contribution to the development of nanomaterials over the years are recognised.

Dr Ken Leung, Assistant Professor of the Department of Chemistry, recently won the Materials Research Contribution Award presented by the Asia Pacific Society for Materials Research in recognition of his achievement in the research of energy and nanomaterials development. He was invited to deliver a lecture at the 2015 Global Research Efforts on Energy and Nano Materials in Taiwan.

This is the third consecutive year that Dr Leung has received the Award. He was very delighted and said, “There is a pressing need to develop new materials for effective energy storage and release.” He is extending his nanomaterials research to include investigation of new nano-sized dendritic polymer molecules for energy storage applications.
